I never really knew how Google Adwords was working for me until I began tracking conversions with LeadDyno. While I always used the conversion tracking pixel that Google provides, I always found it to be imperfect. That’s because I want to measure specific $$$ amounts and sales… while Google is only able to tell me if someone made it to a certain page. Like a sign up, or “thank you” page. That’s a good start – but I need more! Specifically, I need to know what somebody bought and/or signed up for… how much they purchased… and how long they stayed with us afterwards. This is easy to do with LeadDyno. All you need to do is create a new marketing campaign tracking link – as use this link as the Target URL within Adwords. Or, if you’re advertising on Facebook, just make sure the link that you provide Facebook with is a campaign tracking link from LeadDyno. Don’t just give Facebook the link to your homepage – give them this link instead. It’s pretty much the same thing as using an affiliate link to track the effectiveness of a specific marketing campaign. Because LeadDyno is already plugged into your website – and most importantly, your E-Commerce provider – you’ll have visibility into the entire sales funnel that was generated as a result of each specific advertising campaign you are tracking. I’ve been doing online marketing for the past decade, and I can tell you this is huge. It allows me to test campaigns quickly and easily. I’m able to let our winners run, and cut our losers short.

Domain Hunter Plus is similar to Check My Links. But this tool also checks to see if the broken link’s domain is available for registration. Cool feature in theory…but I rarely find any free domain names with this tool. That’s because authoritative domains tend to get scooped up pretty quickly. Still a helpful tool for broken link building or The Moving Man Method though.
I actually think some of the best “SEO tools” are not labelled or thought of as SEO tools at all. Things like Mouseflow and Crazyegg where I can better understand how people actually use and interact with a site are super useful in helping me craft a better UX. I can imagine more and more of these types of tools will come under the umbrella of ‘SEO tools’ in 2015/16 as people start to realise that its not just about how technically sound a site is but whether the visitor accomplishes what they set out to do that day 🙂
Commission Splitting Capabilities. Every now and then, you may experience having multiple affiliates claiming referral commissions for the same sale. Most businesses use a last-click-wins model to resolve problems such as these, however, that fails to incentivize the influence that other affiliates may have had to make the sale. With AvantLink, you can utilize attribution data, so that you may divide the commission payout accordingly.
Free works fine. Before subscribing to a paid plan try free SEO tools first. There are plenty of free apps in the market and many of these are easy to set up and give respectable results. They give you a good grasp of comparing the features and results without the cost. The free version also gives you enough traction to evaluate the app. Likewise, the more you get confident in using the main features, the better you can assess other paid apps for more advanced tools.
“I have bought books, e-books and applications about SEO, I subscribe to numerous newsletters related to SEO, but the only tool I don’t regret buying is IBP. With IBP, I have managed to place my website on the first place for my target keyword. I’m first in Yahoo & Bing and I am currently 3rd with Google. The beauty of this program is that it works with any language. All you have to do is to follow the clear instructions. Thank you IBP.”
The SEO tools in this roundup provide tremendous digital marketing value for businesses, but it's important not to forget that we're living in Google's world under Google's constantly evolving rules. Oh and don't forget to check the tracking data on Bing now and again, either. Google's the king with over 90 percent of worldwide internet search, according to StatCounter, but the latest ComScore numbers have Bing market share sitting at 23 percent. Navigable news and more useful results pages make Bing a viable choice in the search space as well.

Check for main features. While SEO tools vary a lot in terms of focus and main purpose, you should get an app that has the most important tools to get a solid SEO campaign going. These are: 1) keyword targeting, to help you discover and build on the right keywords; 2) competition analysis, to see how your SEO efforts fare versus your competitor’s and; 3) website analysis, to ensure your website is always optimized and does not fall behind the competition.
