Other than the general dashboard which also gives a clear understanding of where you affiliate program is taking your business,  you also have the reporting feature offered by Tapfiliate. This feature, I would say is pretty helpful when want to take a deep dive into really where your affiliate marketing efforts are headed to. This aspect of putting in an effort to drive more revenue is essential you NEED to know if your efforts are paying off or not. Reporting in my view is an absolute necessity for any tool to have, no matter the industry it is serving.
Ryan Scollon, SEO Consultant at RyanScollon.co.uk  recommends the SEO tool Majestic. He says, “My favorite SEO tool is Majestic, with its main feature allowing you to check the backlinks of a website that you specify. My favorite feature is the ability to add your own client’s site and a bunch of competitors, allowing you to easily compare a bunch of SEO metrics such as trust flow, referring domain count and external backlinks count. Not only does it help us understand the [client’s optimization] weaknesses, but it also provides a simple table that we share with our clients, so they too can understand the problems and how they stack up to their competitors. We also use Majestic to audit competitors backlinks, as we can sometimes find a handful of easy opportunities to tackle before moving onto other link building tactics.”12.
Unfortunately, the 2Checkout dashboard is a bit limited in scope, making it difficult to get any metrics on conversion rates or even sorting by commission payouts. The workaround is to go to the Avangate store, which does list their best-selling products, and then search for these on the affiliate dashboard. That being said, 2Checkout does offer products from more than 4,000 different vendors, making it the leading affiliate network for software and digital products.
You know who to coordinate with. Other than having the right product and a fully equipped website, you should also take time to study who to tap for your affiliate marketing program. You may choose to personally reach out to publishers, bloggers, or other individuals who caters to an audience similar to yours. Alternatively, you may find potential affiliate partners in other companies that offer products that complement yours.

Already a few months back, but Moz launched a local product to compete in the fast-growing SMB market. In a previous post, we’ve suspected to see Moz move in the SEO enterprise market, but this didn’t  seem to really happen. Their tools a great, but a lot of folks don’t think that they are exceptional, meaning other tools couldn’t provide a certain task or data in a similar way. Moz local looks solid and will compete with Yext, Placable and a bunch of other local submission services, which we’ll cover soon.
